Press Release

Armanino McKenna and Intacct Expand Partnership

Top Fifty CPA Firm to Offer Intacct in Both Its Consulting and Outsourced Accounting Practices

"We differentiate ourselves in the marketplace by staying ahead of the curve with respect to the latest technology, by creating our own unique intellectual property and by complementing these solutions with our consulting services," added Armanino. "It is clear this industry is moving rapidly to the cloud and this is an area in which we expect to see significant growth for our firm. The fact that Intacct offers a robust partner program designed around the success of its partners also helped to make our decision to work with Intacct an easy one."

Intacct, a provider in cloud financial management and accounting applications, and Armanino McKenna LLP, a California-based CPA and Consulting firm in the United States, on Wednesday announced an expanded strategic partnership. Under the new and expanded sales, marketing and development agreement, Armanino McKenna will offer Intacct across both its Consulting and Outsourced Accounting practices.

Already a top partner for Microsoft Dynamics applications, Armanino McKenna views cloud computing as a significant growth opportunity and in 2010 began an extensive evaluation to find the best cloud-based financial management applications to augment its existing product lines. After evaluating all the major cloud computing-based financial applications, Armanino McKenna selected Intacct to offer across both its Consulting and Outsourced Accounting practices. Further, Intacct will assist Armanino McKenna in marketing and selling Intacct to the firm's clients and in developing new applications and vertical solutions.

"Many companies have a need for a cloud-based application to eliminate IT resources and provide a collaborative web-based solution for their accounting personnel and management decision making," said Matt Armanino, COO and Partner at Armanino McKenna. "We are tremendously excited to be able to work with Intacct across both our Consulting and Outsourced Accounting practices and we expect to gain tremendous leverage by deploying a unified cloud platform across both of these core businesses. Intacct is a great fit for our clients, particularly those in the high-tech, business services and not-for-profit sectors, who increasingly want to move their business applications to the cloud."

Armanino McKenna has already successfully deployed Intacct to a wide range of clients in its Outsourced Accounting practice. This practice assists organizations that prefer not to hire a full-time controller, CFO or finance staff. Armanino McKenna offers Intacct to these companies as a collaborative financial management system that is simultaneously accessed over the Internet by both firm and client personnel.

Intacct features award-winning financial management, fund accounting, project accounting and revenue management functionality at a fraction of the cost and risk of traditional financial software. Intacct also includes sophisticated tools for individualizing, extending and integrating the system to precisely match the needs of specific clients. Armanino McKenna plans to leverage Intacct's cloud-based development tools to build repeatable solutions for key industries and to develop entirely new applications that can be marketed and sold to multiple clients.

"Top CPA firms like Armanino McKenna have enjoyed tremendous success leveraging Intacct to deliver Outsourced Accounting services to thousands of their clients," said Taylor Macdonald, vice president of Channels for Intacct. "With the mainstream adoption of cloud computing, visionary firms like Armanino McKenna have recognized that there are massive benefits to be gained by standardizing on Intacct across both Consulting and Outsourcing practices. We are thrilled with this expansion of our already successful partnership."
